An 18-year-old man and 16-year-old boy are facing charges following a reported assault and stabbing in Halifax over the weekend.
Halifax Regional Police say just before 1:30 a.m., officers received a call that a man was being beaten up by three others in a parking lot on Plateau Crescent.
About 10 minutes later, a call was received that a 20-year-old man in the 10-20 block of Braeside Lane had been stabbed. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers and a canine unit searched the area but were not able to locate the suspects. Police believe the incidents are connected.

At the time, police said the only description they had of the suspects was that they were white males.
In an updated news release, police said they arrested two suspects on Tuesday around 4 p.m. at a residence on Main Street.
Jermain Dawson Harvey, 18, and the teen, both from Halifax, face charges of aggravated assault and possession of a weapon.
Both are scheduled to appear in Halifax court on Wednesday.
