The man hit the $158,400,000 (about $1.5 million CAD) Jamaican Super Lotto jackpot, claiming the prize late last week. The person arrived at the lotto centre wearing the mask from the 1996 horror flick, along with a pair of black rubber gloves.

The person was only identified as A. Campbell. According to local media, it took Campbell 54 days to claim his prize after falling ill.

“My head hurt me for three days because I was thinking so much. [Wondering] if what I’ve been longing for really come true. I had a belly ache for two weeks, sometimes I feel so much pain I forgot that I had won,” Campbell told St. Lucia’s The Loop.

Last month, a man in Iowa won $1 on a scratch ticket and drove all the way down to lottery headquarters and insisted on being paid out with a massive novelty cheque.

Tyler Heep hit the $1 jackpot earlier this month and instead of getting another ticket or putting that George Washington towards a cup of coffee, he decided to head over to Iowa Lottery headquarters and asked to be treated like he hit the big one.

“Sure enough they wrote me the one dollar cheque and had me hold it up and took the picture,” Heep said.
