A photo of a snow-covered lion sculpture posted to Instagram by Tourism Calgary this week is garnering some humorous reactions from social media users.
The picture shows one of the city’s iconic Centre Street lions covered in snow and perched atop Calgary in Rotary Park.
The serene winter scene is marred by the angle from which the photo is taken, which makes the sculpture look unintentionally phallic.
Comments about the picture include lots of double entendres (“that lion is awfully stiff”) and a few suggestive emojis (mostly eggplants.)
