ATM stolen from gas station in southern New Brunswick: RCMP

An ATM was stolen from a gas station southern New Brunswick early Friday morning, and police are trying to figure out who’s responsible for the robbery.

New Brunswick RCMP say officers responded to a break-in at the Esso Gas Station on Route 175 in Pennfield, N.B., at around 2:45 a.m.

Police say the ATM contained an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.

The only description of the suspect was that they had a thin build. The person’s face was covered and they were wearing a white hooded sweater with a dark graphic on the back and winter boots with reflective trim.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact St. George RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
