Toronto man arrested in Aberfoyle armed robbery investigation

Wellington County OPP say a Toronto man has been arrested after an armed robbery in Aberfoyle in December.

According to police, a gas station on Brock Road South near McLean Road was robbed by two men on the morning of Dec. 18.

Police said the suspects walked into the gas station, pointed a handgun at the attendant and fled with cash and cigarettes.

An 18-year-old was charged with armed robbery and uttering threats to cause death.

OPP said they are still trying to identify additional suspects.
