Cece Luppino has been laid to rest.
On Jan. 30, the 43-year-old Hamilton man was shot and killed outside his father’s home on Mountain Brow Boulevard.
Despite his family’s ties to the mafia, police say Luppino was not known to authorities and did not have a criminal record.

A visitation for Luppino was held on Monday, while his funeral mass took place at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Tuesday morning.

According to his obituary, Luppino will be missed by numerous cousins and friends, both in Canada and Italy.
