Buzz Lightyear seems to be tied up in some trouble in the new short trailer for Toy Story 4, which debuted after the 2019 Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 3.
The 30-second trailer opens with a shot of Woody, voiced by Tom Hanks, and Bo Peep, voiced by Annie Potts, at a carnival.
“Wow. This place is amazing,” Woody tells Bo Peep.

“Is Buzz going to meet us here?” Bo Peep asks Woody.
“He must be held up somewhere,” Woody says.
Woody’s statement turns out to be very true as Buzz Lightyear, voiced by Tim Allen, is really held up with a plastic tie onto a wire frame at a Star Adventurer carnival stand.
“Hey, up here, Astroboy,” says a fluffy duck toy, voiced by Keegan-Michael Key, hanging over Buzz.

“If you think you can take our top prize spot, you’re wrong,” says a blue bunny, voiced by Jordan Peele.
“Dead wrong,” the yellow duck says.
“Help me get out of here,” Buzz says to them.
“Oh, I’ll help you. With my foot,” the duck says while kicking Buzz in the head. “To infinity and my foot!”

According to the Disney synopsis, the upcoming instalment will centre on Woody’s original love interest Bo, reading: “Woody has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie.
“So when Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky (Tony Hale), declares himself as ‘trash’ and not a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy.
“But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep.”
