The province’s police watchdog, the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), is investigating the death of a man in Thornbury.
According to Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP, on Tuesday, just before 10 p.m., officers were called to check on the well-being of a man at a residence on Clark Street.
Police say they found the man at the residence but he was deceased.
Police notified the SIU, which invoked its mandate to investigate deaths, serious injury or allegations of sexual assault involving police officers.
