There is a snowfall warning in effect for the Greater Montreal area.
According to Environment Canada, a “Colorado low will track over the Great Lakes Tuesday and become a major storm.”

The organization estimates snowfall amounts could exceed 15 centimetres by Tuesday evening.
“In addition, visibility will be reduced to near zero in the blowing snow in the afternoon,” said Environment Canada.
Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.

“Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations,” the organization stated.

Snowfall warnings are issued when when significant snowfall is expected.
