Steinbach firefighters take in frozen feline visitor

A kitten that was found braving the cold outside the Steinbach fire station Tuesday is safe and warm.

The Steinbach Fire Department has put out a call on social media to name their little visitor, who is temporarily staying inside a heated garage at a firefighter’s house.

The as-of-yet unnamed kitty – “Ember” seems like a popular choice online – will be visiting the vet clinic today for a checkup and needs a name for their files.
