History
The riding was part of the 2015 orange crush, which saw the Alberta NDP stomp out a 44-year Progressive Conservative dynasty in the province.
Calgary’s former police chief Rick Hanson ran as the Progressive Conservative candidate in the riding but lost the election to NDP candidate Ricardo Miranda.
