Manitoba RCMP are investigating after a fatal shooting took place east of the town of Fraserwood, Man.
At around 11:40 p.m. Saturday, Teulon RCMP responded to a call saying a woman was shot while in a vehicle.
When they got to Provincial Road 231 east of the town, police found the 20-year-old victim had suffered life-threatening injuries.
The young woman died shortly after being taken to a nearby hospital.

Police tape was also seen at the Fraserwood Tourist Hotel Sunday.
RCMP have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the shooting and are not searching for any other suspects. Police do not believe the shooting is gang-related.
Teulon RCMP and the RCMP Major Crime Unit are continuing to investigate.
