WATCH: A man has been rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition after being hit by a vehicle. Lauren Pullen reports – Oct 25, 2018

A 70-year-old pedestrian has been transported to the hospital after a collision with a vehicle Thursday morning, Calgary police said.

The man was in life-threatening condition and was transported to the Foothills hospital, EMS said.

He is currently in serious, non-life-threatening condition, police said.

EMS said the collision happened in the 1100-block of Trafford Dr. N.W. in Thorncliffe.

Police said the driver simply did not see the man and stayed on the scene.

Officers are unsure at this time what factors contributed to the collision as the investigation continues.
