On Nov. 20, 2017, Adam Stewart Young, 35, was last seen leaving his home in the 200-block of 11 Avenue S.E. in Calgary.  He hasn’t been seen or heard from since, police said.

“Based on information obtained during this ongoing investigation, police have determined that there is a strong probability of foul play and are investigating Young’s disappearance as a homicide,” a police news release said Wednesday.

Police said they are searching a property located east of Highway 2 at 338 Avenue and 112 Street S.E.

Video from the Global1 helicopter showed an extensive police presence with tents being set up, equipment and other police vehicles on the property.

Police said they expect to be on the property “for a lengthy duration.”
