Police arrest man in connection with northeast Calgary assault

Police said they have arrested a man in connection with a serious assault in northeast Calgary.

At around 2:55 a.m., Monday, EMS said a man was found in medical distress at the intersection of 52 Street and 32 Avenue N.E.

He was rushed to the hospital in life-threatening condition, EMS said.

Police said a man was taken into custody at a Saddleridge-area address Monday afternoon. There is no word on charges, if any, will be laid.
