A 43-year-old London man has been charged with arson, after a vehicle fire Wednesday morning that caused lane closures on Highway 401.
Provincial police said an officer was patrolling the eastbound lanes west of Highbury Avenue, when they saw smoke rising from a black BMW sedan around 9:15 a.m.
When the officer reached the scene, police say a man was seen walking away from the burning vehicle.
