TORONTO – A man is facing eight charges – including attempted murder – after Toronto police made an arrest in the alleged kidnapping and beating of a 25-year-old man.
It’s alleged that the suspect kidnapped the man and beat him repeatedly over a period of time before releasing him.

Police say the man sustained numerous serious injuries and required hospitalization.
A 28-year-old man wanted in connection with the case was arrested in Windsor, Ont., on Saturday.

He is charged with kidnapping, forcible confinement, attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a prohibited weapon, robbery and break and enter.
The man’s name cannot be published due to a publication ban ordered by the judge.
