TORONTO – Hoping to score a date with Game of Thrones star Kit Harington while he’s in Toronto? Work up an appetite.
Harington, who plays the virgin “bastard” Jon Snow on the hit HBO series, told Glamour his ideal date is “a girl who eats.”
But don’t even think about having a salad.

“I much prefer that she order the burger,” Harington said.
The 26-year-old British actor will be in Toronto until July shooting Pompeii, a feature film set in the days leading up to the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. He’s familiar with the city’s restaurant scene, having made last year’s Silent Hill: Revelation 3D in Toronto.
Harington told Glamour he believes a first date should be intimate. “I’d choose a nice dinner somewhere cozy, not too crowded, with good wine,” he explained.
The star said a woman with a sense of humour has a shot at a second date.
“She’s got to be funny,” said Harington. “I like a girl who does not take me seriously, you know? It’s important to be able to laugh at each other.”
