Ten men from across New Brunswick are facing charges after they allegedly tried to buy services from sex-trade workers in Moncton.
Police say they were in the area of Dufferin Street, St. George Street and Park Street Wednesday night, as part of an ongoing effort to curb prostitution.

The men range in age from 24 to 67, according to police, and are from Moncton, Cap-Pelé, Petitcodiac, Irishtown and Sussex
“We regularly conduct operations targeting individuals attempting to buy services from sex trade workers,” said Cpl. Jacques Cloutier of Codiac RCMP in a statement.
“We urge the public to call police if they see vehicles stopping along the street that they believe are attempting to buy services from sex trade workers. We ask that they take note of the make, model and colour of vehicle and, if possible, the licence plate number.”

All of the men have been released and are scheduled to appear in Moncton provincial court on Nov. 15.
