Road closures in Penticton have started for this weekend’s Super League Triathlon.
The City of Penticton says to avoid delays while travelling downtown and along nearby roads, motorists and cyclists are strongly encouraged to use alternative routes.
Here is a list of roads that will be closed because of the triathlon:

- Lakeshore Drive (between Winnipeg St. and Martin St.), closed Wednesday, August 15 from 8 a.m. to Monday, August 20, 8 a.m.
- Lakeshore Drive (between Power St. and Martin St.), closed Thursday, August 16 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Main Street, Westminster Ave, Martin St., Lakeshore (between Martin St. and Front St.) Vancouver Ave., and Lower Bench Road, closed Saturday, August 18 from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Lakeshore Drive (between Riverside Dr. and Winnipeg Ave.), closed Saturday, August 18 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- Lakeshore Drive (between Power St. and Martin Street), closed Saturday August 18 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Lakeshore Drive (between Martin St. and Ellis St.), Ellis St. (between Vancouver Ave. and Government), Main St. (between Wade Ave. W and Westminster Ave. W), Westminster Ave. W (between Winnipeg and Main St.) Estabrook Ave. (between Winnipeg and Martin St.), Martin St. (between Estabrook Ave. and Lakeshore Dr.), Government St. (between Ellis St. and Dawson Ave) and Dawson Ave (between Government St. and Dartmouth Rd.), closed Sunday August 19 from 5 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
