Randy Rampage, bassist for seminal Vancouver punk band D.O.A., has died, according to reports.
“A punk legend has moved on,” read a post on the Facebook page for Bloodied But Unbowed, a documentary on Vancouver’s punk music scene. “And because he shared himself with you, please share a moment and think of Randy Desmond Archibald aka Rampage.”

D.O.A frontman Joe “Shithead” Keithley shared a post on Facebook that read “R.I.P. Randy Rampage.”
Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses also passed on his condolences via social media.
Rampage spent multiple stints with D.O.A., appearing on their influential albums Something Better Change and Hardcore ’81 alongside Keithley and drummer Chuck Biscuits.
He left D.O.A. in 1981 and later returned for more two more stints with the band.
He also served as the frontman for hardcore thrash metal band Annihilator.
He was 58.
