RCMP in New Brunswick say they have identified and spoken to the driver of a pickup truck who was involved in a fatal head-on crash near Eel River Crossing last Friday.
Campbellton RCMP say the two-vehicle collision happened just after 5 a.m on Highway 11. A truck travelling west appeared to have crossed the centre line and struck a car travelling east.

The passenger of the car died at the scene, while the car’s driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
At the time, police said the driver of the black GMC Sierra truck fled the scene before police arrived, leaving behind the damaged vehicles behind.
RCMP say their investigation is continuing and they would like to speak to anyone who may have seen a black GMC Sierra pick-up truck between 4 and 5 a.m. on Friday.
