3 dead in Brampton crash, 3 injured including 3 children

Three people are dead and three injured — including three children — after a crash involving an SUV and sports car near Highway 50 and Countryside Drive in Brampton, Ont. on Saturday night.

Peel Regional Police said they received a call about the two-vehicle crash just after 9 p.m.

A 47-year-old woman from the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene, according to paramedics.

Three children were taken to a local hospital — two of them without vital signs. The third child was listed in stable condition.

A seven-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl, both passengers of the SUV, were later pronounced dead by Peel police.

Police said all three deceased — the 47-year-old woman, 12-year-old girl and seven-year-old boy — were from Woodbridge and all travelling in the same vehicle.

A 39-year-old woman from Toronto and a 45-year-old man from Caledon, both in the sports car, were also taken to hospital in stable condition, police said.
