Drugs, firearms seized by Warman RCMP in Corman Park home

Warman RCMP seized drugs and firearms, and charged two people after a search of a home in Corman Park.

The home near Dalmeny was searched on Saturday evening as part of an ongoing police investigation.

Nine long-barrel firearms and ammunition were seized, along with three pellet guns, several knifes, and a baton.

At least one firearm had defaced serial number.

Police said what is believed to be meth and ecstasy, along with drug paraphernalia were also seized.

Kristen Mitchener, 36, and Kendall Misponas, 27, are charged with possession of firearms with being card holders of a licence, possession of firearms knowing they are not a card holders, possession of a firearm with a serial number defaced, and drug possession.

Mitchener is also charged with breaching an undertaking.

Both appeared Monday in Saskatoon provincial court.
