A 39-year-old man was airlifted to hospital in Halifax on Monday after he was struck by a dump truck in Nova Scotia’s Cumberland County.
Nova Scotia RCMP say the collision happened around 7:25 p.m. along Kolbec Road in Kolbec, N.S., about five kilometres from Oxford.

Police say he was transported to the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax with serious injuries by EHS LifeFlight.

The driver of the dump truck was not injured, according to police.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
The section of Kolbec Road where the crash occurred was closed for several hours.
