Three people face charges after police say a Peterborough security guard was threatened with a firearm on Friday.
Police say a security guard noticed a male in distress near a vehicle. When he approached the vehicle, he discovered several people inside.
“As the security guard approached, the male asked if the security guard had any crack cocaine for sale,” police stated.

According to police, when the security guard attempted to take a photo of the vehicle, a woman got out of the car and allegedly lifted up her skirt and “flashed” a handgun that was tucked into her waist belt.
Peterborough Police Service was called and the suspects fled in the vehicle. Police later located the vehicle and conducted a high-risk takedown of three individuals.
Police said they located an imitation firearm (pellet pistol) inside the vehicle.
Jimmayne Theodore Jackson, 30, of Park Street, Peterborough, was charged with possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Jeff O’Neill, 42, of Shawmarr Road, Mississauga, was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Chelsi Wade, 20, of Briarwood Avenue, Mississauga, was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, uttering threats — causing death or bodily harm, and assault with a weapon.
They were released from custody and are to appear in court on Aug. 23.
