WATCH: Anthony Parise, a teacher at Malvern Collegiate in Toronto, talked with Global News about a GoFundMe page has been set up in order to create a scholarship in honour of Reese Fallon, one of his students and a victim of Sunday's deadly shooting in Toronto's greektown – Jul 24, 2018

The friends of Reese Fallon have created an online fundraising campaign to create a scholarship in her name.

According to the Go Fund Me page by Julie Steel, the scholarship will be distributed each year to a graduate of Malvern Collegiate entering a nursing program as a way to keep Reese’s memory alive.

“We hope that this scholarship can provide some comfort to her family, knowing that Reese will never be forgotten,” Steel says.

Reese was going to study nursing at McMaster this fall before she was killed in Sunday night’s shooting on the Danforth in Toronto.
