Officers were called to a building in the area of Wyndham and Carden streets around 7:05 p.m. Thursday after receiving reports of a man masturbating in the lobby.

When police arrived, however, the man had fled the area and was said to have been headed to the nearby Old Quebec Street Mall.

A 24-year-old Guelph man is now facing an indecent acts charge, along with a charge for breaching his probation.

This comes as the city has seen a string of several indecent acts within the last month, all with different reports and suspect descriptions.

Guelph Police say if you encounter this type of behaviour, get yourself to safety and away from the incident, then contact police.
