Peel Regional Police say a woman has been arrested after she allegedly entered a Brampton Tim Hortons through the drive-thru window and had a violent altercation with employees.
Police say they were called to the Castlemore Road and McVean Drive location at 2:58 a.m. on Sunday.
A short video posted to Facebook on Monday, which appears to be placed outside of the drive-thru window, shows a woman grabbing a uniformed Tim Hortons employee by her hair while a male employee tries to intervene.
At one point in the video, the woman is shown repeatedly punching in the direction of the employee’s head. The woman later ran away, police said.
Police said on Wednesday afternoon that a 21-year-old Brampton woman, Leliqua Clarke, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and a single count of break and enter with intent.
