Overnight closures on the Macdonald Bridge will resume this week.
Beginning Tuesday, the bridge will be closed to all traffic Monday to Thursday from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

The sidewalk and bike lane will also be closed during this time, with a shuttle service being provided.

The closures are necessary to complete work for the Big Lift, which is considered a once-in-a-lifetime project to revamp the Macdonald Bridge.

In total, the closures are expected to last for 10 weeks.
