Four people were arrested on Thursday after Belleville police executed several raids at various residences around the city. Police say a quantity of heroin and methamphetamine was confiscated, but could not release how much.
According to police, one warrant was executed at an apartment building at 179 Palmer Rd. in Belleville.

There were reports on Twitter that this incident was related to an incident at a Comfort Inn on Wednesday, but Staff Sgt. Rene Aubertin says the two are unrelated.

“These warrants were part of an ongoing investigation,” said Aubertin.
Josh Parks, 32, Lisa Smith, 40, Brian Wright, 37, and Randolph Johnston, 38, were arrested on various charges.
Parks and Smith were both charged with trafficking methamphetamine and heroin, and for possessing proceeds from criminal activity.
Wright was charged with breach of probation and Johnston was charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance.
