A Department of Natural Resources helicopter and search-and-rescue crew were brought in to help search for Breau.
Jennifer Woodside was the search team incident commander when Breau’s body was found.
“Anytime we go out for a missing person it’s an amazing feeling when we bring them home safe and sound,” she says. “When we do find a subject that’s deceased it is still closure for the family and it’s a lot more important to actually have them home then to not find them at all.”
Police are not releasing any details about what part of the lake Breau was retrieved from, or his cause of death.
