A Peterborough man was charged after a physical fight with another man allegedly involved weapons.
Police were called to a Park Street North residence around 12:30 p.m. Friday for the altercation between the two men who knew each other.
“During the argument, it was reported that one of the males struck the other male in the head with a piece of wood and metal pipe,” police stated.

EMS also responded and the victim was taken to hospital with injuries, police said.

Lucius James Moreau, 25, of Park Street North, was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon.
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on July 19.
