On Wednesday, April 26, 2017, a man was reportedly spraying graffiti on a fence on Arbour Ridge Close N.W. By the time officers arrived, the man was gone, but a witness had taken photos of the suspect.

On Tuesday, June 7, 2018, police executed a search warrant at a residence on Sherwood Heights N.W., and said they found evidence linking the suspect to the graffiti, and police arrested the suspect without incident.

Grayson Reed White, 20, was charged with six counts of mischief in connection with the graffiti incidents.

The investigation was done by the Joint Graffiti Investigative Team, which includes officers from Calgary Police Service, the City of Calgary Community Standards and Calgary Transit Public Safety & Enforcement.

Last year, more than 45 charges were laid against prolific graffiti offenders, and the team conducted an operation to stop racially-motivated graffiti painted in Ranchlands.
