A 49-year-old woman has died in hospital following a three-vehicle crash in Vaughan.
York Regional Police said the collision happened around 6 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Pine Valley Drive and Highway 7.
Authorities said the female driver of a Hyundai was transported to hospital in critical condition. Police confirm she later succumbed to her injuries.
A 22-year-old male passenger in the Hyundai was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A 63-year-old male driver of a Chevy Colorado pick-up truck also suffered minor injuries. The driver of a third vehicle, an Infiniti, was not injured.
The area was shut down to traffic for the collision investigation but reopened at 11 a.m.
