A Wetaskiwin, Alta. man is facing 10 charges related to sexual assault after reports that three girls may have been involved in child exploitation.
An RCMP investigation identified three teenagers as “victims of sexual encounters.”
The 47-year-old man is facing four counts each of sexual interference and sexual assault, as well as one count each of obtaining sexual services for consideration and luring a child.

In a release on Wednesday, police said they would not be naming the man “in an effort to protect the identity of any victims.”

The man has been released on court documents with substantial conditions, according to police. The release said the man was scheduled to be in court, but didn’t say when.
Police believe there may be other victims and are asking them to come forward. Victims can call RCMP at 780-312-7200 or a local police department.
