Three people are dead following a head-on collision in northern Alberta.
RCMP say a southbound car hit a northbound pickup Tuesday afternoon on Highway 88 near Fort Vermilion.

Paramedics say the three people died at the scene.
The dead include a 19-year-old man from Fort Vermilion who was in the car and a 58-year-old man and 62-year-old woman who were in the truck.
Police say a 36-year-old woman who was also in the truck was seriously hurt and was being treated in hospital.
No names have been released.
