The 34-year-old was released on a number of court-ordered conditions, including a curfew between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. He was also ordered to abstain from alcohol or drugs, not enter any licensed premise other than a dining room to have a meal, not possess any kind of weapon and not leave Edmonton without prior approval.
In a media release issued Monday afternoon, police said Cardinal was wanted on two counts of breaching recognizance.
Police said Cardinal is considered a high-risk offender and he should not be approached. He has brown eyes, black hair, is five-foot-eight and 150 pounds and has several neck and face tattoos.
Anyone who has information on Cardinal’s whereabouts is asked to call the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online.
