A 60-year-old cyclist is dead after hitting a parked delivery truck in the Don Mills Area on Tuesday, police say.
The collision happened around 3 p.m. just southwest of the Don Valley Parkway and York Mills Road.

“Initially, it appears that the vehicle was actually parked, and that the cyclist drove into the back of the vehicle,” Toronto police Const. Clint Stibbe said.

The cyclist was transported to Sunnybrook hospital without vital signs, he said.
Traffic reconstruction teams have closed Laurentide Drive between Larabee Crescent and Alvarado Place in both directions for an investigation.
Officers are looking to speak with witnesses to the collision.
