Witchekan Lake First Nation man killed in grid road crash

A Saskatchewan man is dead after a single-vehicle crash on a grid road.

Spiritwood RCMP said the crash happened Thursday on the Witchekan Lake grid.

A 46-year-old man from the Witchekan Lake First Nation was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

A portion of the road was closed for three hours while police and a RCMP traffic reconstructionist investigated.

No other details have been released at this time.

Witchekan Lake First Nation is approximately 180 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
