A Scarborough man faces drug charges after police seized cocaine and other drugs during an investigation on Wednesday night.
Kawartha Lakes Police say drug enforcement officers were conducting an investigation on William Street North, which led to the arrest of a suspect with a “large quantity” of cocaine. Police also seized heroin and marijuana.
“The street value of the drugs that were seized is $8,000,” said Insp. Mark Mitchell.
Jerome Dorsey, 30, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. He was held in custody for a scheduled bail hearing in Lindsay court on Thursday.
