Former Melrose Place star Heather Locklear has entered treatment after her arrest last week for domestic violence.

Locklear was arrested in Thousand Oaks, Calif., last Sunday night on one count of domestic violence and three counts of battery on a police officer and emergency personnel.

Her live-in boyfriend, Chris Heisser, placed the call to police. (Previous reports said it was Locklear’s brother who phoned authorities.)

The City of Thousand Oaks Police Department also revealed that detectives searched Locklear’s home on Tuesday after obtaining a warrant.

Police sought the warrant in response to “specific threats” Locklear made during the arrest. According to a statement, “Locklear told deputies she would shoot them if they ever came to her house again.”

While the actor does have a firearm registered in her name, police weren’t able to locate it in their search.

When police arrived on the night of the alleged incident, Locklear, 56, supposedly went into defensive mode and started flailing and kicking at the three deputies attempting to subdue her. Heisser also had a “visible mark” on his body when police arrived on the scene, according to celebrity gossip site TMZ.

A police spokesperson said the actor was “uncooperative” and “battered” at the time of her arrest. She claimed she had been “battered or injured” prior to their arrival and was later taken to a hospital for evaluation “out of an abundance of caution.”

This isn’t the first time Locklear has had a run-in with law enforcement. She was arrested in 2008 for suspicion of driving under the influence, and in 2012, she and her ex-fiancé, fellow actor Jack Wagner, were ordered to appear in court after they had an allegedly violent altercation. Neither wanted to press charges against the other and the case wasn’t pursued any further.

This is the sixth time Locklear has entered rehab.

Last year, when she went to a facility for the fifth time, she said, “I am feeling great and am taking steps to enrich and better my life. Currently, I am working on tying up some loose ends regarding certain issues so I can hit 2017 full steam ahead.”

Locklear was previously married to American rockers Richie Sambora and Tommy Lee. She has a scheduled court date on March 13.
