The Colorado Low that was forecasted last week delivered on heavy snow and strong winds.
The system moved into the Manitoba Sunday afternoon bringing with it a surprise for March- thunderstorms. Thunderstorms were reported around southern Manitoba and southern Saskatchewan.
Sunday night and through Monday, heavy snow fell across southern Manitoba. Snowfall and winter storm warnings remain in place Monday as snow continues to fall.
The hardest hit areas were Minnedosa and Stonewall where at least 30 cms of snow fell in just a few hours.
