Highway 15 is closed in both directions just north of the village of Joyceville, north of Kingston, following a head-on collision involving a utility van and a small car.
The crash happened just after 9 a.m. between Shannon Road and Mundell Road on Highway 15.

The Ontario Provincial Police say one person was rescued from one of the vehicles involved. That person has been taken to Kingston General Hospital with serious injuries.
The OPP’s technical traffic collision investigation and reconstruction unit is on the scene.
Highway 15 will remain closed while investigators collect evidence.
