The Saskatchewan Rush beat the Vancouver Stealth 16-10 in National Lacrosse League (NLL) action on Saturday.

Rush forward Robert Church led the team’s offence with four goals and four assists. Matthew Dinsdale also netted four goals for Saskatchewan.

Pat Saunders, Tony Malcom and Joel McCready each had two goals and an assist for Vancouver.

Saskatchewan scored five power-play goals on six chances. Vancouver was one-for-four with the man advantage. Both teams allowed a short-handed goal.

Eric Penney made 14 saves on 24 shots while Brodie MacDonald let six goals in on 27 shots from the Rush. Evan Kirk stopped 28 shots in front of a home crowd of 14,057 at SaskTel Centre.

The Stealth (1-11) will meet Saskatchewan one more time this NLL season on April 13 in B.C.

The Rush (10-2) will have a bye week before travelling to Buffalo, N.Y., to play the Bandits (6-5) on March 16.
