The mother of a missing New Brunswick teen is pleading for answers, as RCMP confirm they suspect foul play in his disappearance.
Brayden Joseph Thibault, 17, is from St. Stephen and was last seen on Fredericton’s north side on July 31, 2017.

Thibault’s mother, Amanda Frigault, spoke at a news conference at RCMP J Division headquarters in Fredericton on Friday morning.
“I love you more, Mama” were the last words I heard my son say,” she said.
“That was more than six months ago and since then, I have relived every moment of the last 17 years of his life: every achievement, every struggle, and all the moments in between.”
RCMP first revealed they believed Thibault’s disappearance was suspicious in October 2017. On Friday, they told reporters they believe foul play is involved.
The New Brunswick RCMP Major Crime Unit is investigating alongside West District RCMP and the Fredericton Police Force, but no arrests have been made so far.
Police say they believe there are people who know what happened to the teen and are asking them to come forward.
“You all have someone in your life that you love, and if you were forced to live a moment of this nightmare, I would pray that the people who had information would come forward. My family is asking for the same respect and compassion that we would show yours,” Frigault said.
“If you have any information about what’s happened to my son, or where he is, please contact the police or Crime Stoppers.”
Frigault has released a video with her plea for information, which police are asking the public to share.
“We know there are people out there who know what happened to Brayden Thibault, and we want them to see this video,” said RCMP Cpl. Jullie Rogers-Marsh
“Please share it as much as you can so we can reach the people who have information that can help bring Brayden home.”
Thibault is described as five-feet-eight-inches tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.
He has a tattoo on his inner left arm that reads, “Trust your struggles.”
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Thibault, or who saw him after July 31, 2017, is asked to call RCMP at (506) 452-3491 or submit a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
