What’s being called a “significant amount” of drugs has been seized in a police raid in St. Catharines.
After two months of surveillance work, Niagara Regional Police searched a home Tuesday afternoon and arrested three people.

Two men, aged 34 and 35, and a 22-year-old woman face drug trafficking charges.

Officers say they seized heroin that was tinted purple and believed to contain fentanyl, as well as crystal meth, and nearly $3,000 in cash.
Police believe the drugs have a street value of just over $18,000.
