After falling to a 45 per cent approval rating halfway through this year – an all-time low for Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall – he has emerged in his last quarter as the most popular premier in Canada, sitting at an approval rating of 53 per cent. This, according to the Angus Reid Institute.
Wall has held steady at this post in every quarter of tracking since 2010.
Last quarter, Wall’s approval rating was sitting at 49 per cent.
According to the poll, the top three premiers in the country are Wall at 53 per cent, B.C.’s John Horgan at 49 per cent and Newfoundland and Labrador’s Dwight Ball at 35 per cent.

Wall announced his retirement from politics in early August. His replacement will be chosen on Jan. 27, 2018 in Saskatoon at the Saskatchewan Party leadership convention.
