Surrey RCMP have arrested another of its 10 most wanted “prolific offenders.”
Erin Norman was arrested in a Surrey home over the weekend, days after his name appeared on a list of Surrey’s most wanted.
Landlord Gary Parhar said Surrey RCMP officers swept in on his home with guns drawn on Saturday afternoon and arrested Norman.

Parhar said Norman had recently moved in with his girlfriend who lived in his basement suite.
After the arrest, Parhar viewed the most wanted list online.

“I said, ‘That’s the same guy who was living here,'” he said.

Erin Norman was wanted for failure to comply with a probation officer. He has a lengthy criminal history that includes assault, robbery and weapons charges.
Norman is the second person on Surrey’s most wanted list to be captured. On Friday, Eugene Lane, who was wanted for theft under $5,000 and for failure to comply with a probation order, was captured by police.

Erin Norman’s brother Earl Norman is also on the “prolific offender” list.
Parhar is now concerned for his family and has handed the tenant an eviction notice.
