Saskatoon man stabbed while fleeing attempted robbery

A 30-year-old man was stabbed during an attempted robbery in Saskatoon over the weekend.

Saskatoon police were called to a business in the 500-block of 20th Street West at around 2 a.m. CT on Dec. 17. Officers found two employees providing assistance to an injured man.

He said he had been walking in the area when two people approached him and demanded his cellphone. The man told officers he was stabbed as he turned to flee.
